To protect Californians from corporations that endanger our economy, health and safety, end the practice of being soft on corporate crime. Increase rehabilitation and training for people in trouble. Abolish California's "3 Strikes" law.

The Green Party is the party of law and order. We believe that the punishment for crimes should be in proportion to the amount of injury done to people. Corporate malefactors who have stolen retirement security from thousands of people should surely be punished more severely than petty thieves or marijuana smokers.

Corporations should take responsibility for their actions. We need to have real punishment for corporations, which commit felonies year after year. When will we see their officers in jail? When will we see them lose their privilege of avoiding liability for their debts?
